The inspiration for the design originates from the movie The Best Offer, not its storyline, but rather the main character himself. The protagonist, Mr. Oldman, shares striking similarities with the homeowner in terms of personal traits, sparking the designer's boundless imagination. Designing this home was not merely about spatial planning but also an interpretation of Mr. Oldman's inner world.
"A private residence as a collector's museum" forms the thematic core of this house, perfectly encapsulating the owner's passion for and taste in collecting. Every piece in the collection is seamlessly integrated into daily life, creating a space that feels like a personal exhibition gallery.
The male homeowner is an avid collector of furniture and art pieces, including paintings, sculptures, and figurines, with a particular love for classic furniture. Not only can he recount the story behind each piece in his collection, but he also has a profound appreciation for the craftsmanship and aesthetics of furniture. The female homeowner, on the other hand, is a stylish and elegant woman. Together, their shared vision for their new home weaves a space filled with cherished collections and dreams, transforming it into a private museum of art and passion.
對於設計的想像來自於《寂寞拍賣師》這部電影，與劇情無關，而是主角本人，主角奧德曼先生的個人特質與屋主極為相似，這激發了設計師無盡的想像力。在設計這個家時，不僅是空間的規劃，更是對奧德曼先生內心世界的詮釋。
「一座私宅收藏館」是這座住宅的主題核心。完美詮釋主人對收藏的熱情與品味，將每件藏品融入日常生活，營造出如私人展館般的空間。男屋主是一位對家具與藝術品充滿熱愛的收藏家，他珍藏各類畫作、藝術品及公仔，尤其對經典家具情有獨鍾。他不僅能如數家珍般分享每件藏品的故事，對家具的工藝美學也有獨到見解。女屋主則是一位美麗時髦的女性，夫妻倆人對新家的期望深深交融，希望將空間打造成滿載珍藏與夢想的私人藝術館。
To highlight the collection, we intentionally excluded strong design imprints, focusing instead on an open spatial layout, soft textures, and poetic interplay of light and shadow. The entire space revolves around the concepts of humility and refinement. Unlike traditional spatial designs that emphasize dramatic transformations, this approach places greater emphasis on integrating circulation and living corners with display functions, as well as harmoniously presenting classic furniture and home decor.
為了襯托收藏，我們刻意排除強烈的設計鑿痕, 著重於開闊的動線布局、柔和質地、詩意光影視為重心,讓全室圍繞著謙遜和質感的概念展開。不同於傳統空間設計大刀闊斧的改造,更加注重將動線與生活角落融入展示機能,以及經典家具、家飾的諧調並呈。
As the door opens into the foyer, the hurried steps are transformed by the atmosphere into smooth, graceful dance movements, setting the stage for the welcoming ritual.
門打開進入玄關場域，讓急躁的步伐隨氛圍轉化，變成圓潤優雅的舞步，迎接入門的儀式開場。
The figurine in the image is the work of Korean artist Choi Eun Byeol, titled " SLOW".
上圖的公仔是韓國藝術家崔銀星的作品，名稱為“SLOW”。
In the space, the pure and simple raw textures are the focal point. Not only does the use of lacquered surfaces and the warmth of oak lay a soft and subtle foundation for the interior, but the residual heat from the cast-iron stove and the sunlight filtering through the shutters add a fleeting tribute to time in the details.
空間中,純粹樸素的原質質感是外顯重點,不僅運用漆面的肌理、橡木的溫度為室內鋪墊淡淺柔和的基調,也以鑄鐵火爐的餘溫和百葉窗透進的陽光,為細節添入一種稍縱即逝的時光詠讚。
In a concise and clean view, according to the owner's preferences, the space is transformed from a carrier of decoration into a creative element, so that furniture, product selection and space become a perfect integration of masterpieces.
在簡潔、乾淨的視線裡，按著主人的喜好，讓空間從承裝的載體，轉變成創作的元素，讓家具、選品與空間成為完美融合的佳作。
Skyline Chess 西洋棋
The multifunctional room serves as the male homeowner's study, the female homeowner's yoga room, and when guests visit, it quickly transforms into a guest room. This small space holds so many functions and purposes.
多功能室既是男屋主的書房，也是女屋主的瑜伽室，當客人來訪時，它又迅速轉變為客房。這個小小的空間承載了如此多的功能與使命。
Even in the smallest details, such as the stationery tray, one can see the owner's obsessive pursuit of refinement.
小至文具托盤等細微處，皆能見到屋主那份偏執的細緻追求。
On the white wall of the master bedroom, invisible lines are drawn, framing a blank canvas with no content. It appears empty yet full, seemingly nothing yet somehow meaningful—an expression of the owner's state of mind. In the hustle and bustle of life, leaving a space of emptiness in the home allows time to flow and moods to change. This blank space becomes an inclusive environment, where the home may not be a lifetime residence, but life itself is a lifelong journey.
主臥房的白牆上，無形比劃切割著，我們框出一幅沒有內容的留白畫；看似空卻又滿，貌似無又好似有的意境，展呈了屋主的心境。在汲汲營營的生活裡，讓家留下一點空白境地，隨時光流淌、隨心情變化，讓留白成包容的空間場域，家不一定會住一輩子，但生活卻是一生的課題。
The walk-in closet resembles an exquisite exhibition hall, with beautiful display platforms accentuating the clothing and accessories, making them appear even more elegant and refined. The glass partition enhances the visual openness of the master bedroom, and at night, the lights within the glass house glow, resembling a delicate box, quietly displayed for all to admire.
更衣室猶如一座精緻的展示廳，美麗的展台襯托著衣物和配件，使其更顯優雅脫俗。玻璃隔間增添了主臥房的視覺通透感，夜晚時，燈光透過玻璃屋散發出迷人的光芒，宛如一個精美的盒子，靜靜地展示在那裡供人欣賞。
It all starts with designing the space, but during this time we feel more like a texture artist. Taking the texture and atmosphere of the space as the core focus, from just paying attention to the perspective of sunlight to paying attention to the feeling of light shining into the space, paying attention to the unique texture and touch of the material, even if it is mottled, it will make people excited.
一切始於空間設計，但在這期間我們覺得自己更像是一位質感師。將空間的質感和氛圍視為核心重點，從僅是注意日照的角度到會留意光灑向空間的感覺，在意材質獨有的紋路、觸感，即使斑駁也讓人心動不已。

Even now, when you raise your head, look up, or casually look down, you can find a beautiful perspective that you have never imagined. Under the owner's capture, the captured moment makes the home open a new chapter again, like An unfinished movie chapter that makes people want to chew it carefully...
即便到現在，一個抬頭、一個仰望，在不經意地俯視之中，都能發現從未想像過的美麗視角，在屋主的抓拍下，被捕捉的剎那，讓家再度開啟了新的篇章，像一場未完待續的，讓人想要細細咀嚼的電影篇章......。
